Morph has moved to the official Safe app

Safe multisig on Morph now runs on the official Safe app at app.safe.global.

Safe is the standard for onchain multisig, and the official app is built and maintained by the Safe team. Moving there gives Morph users the same Safe experience they already know from other major networks: new features sooner, first-party security updates, the full Safe Apps ecosystem, and support directly from Safe.

The legacy Safe page is being retired​

The previous Morph Safe interface at safe.morphl2.io was operated by a third-party provider and will be discontinued on September 21, 2026.

Your multisig is not affected. It is a smart contract on Morph, and the official app reads that exact same contract. Your Safe address, signers and threshold all stay the same, and no assets move. All you have to do is import your existing Safe address into the new app.

All you need to do: import your existing address​

  1. Copy your Safe address (from the legacy page or from any block explorer).

  2. Open app.safe.global and connect your signer wallet. This is a login signature only — not a transaction, no gas.

  3. Go to My accounts → Add accounts, paste your address, select Morph as the network, and click Add.

Signers and threshold are read from the chain automatically, so there is nothing to fill in by hand. It takes less than a minute.

Good to know​

  • Make sure the network is Morph (Chain ID 2818).

  • If your Safe uses proposers, re-add them under Settings → Setup.

  • Once imported, create and sign Morph multisig transactions in the official app only.

  • Morph and Safe will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.

For developers​

Nothing changes at the contract level: Safe addresses stay the same and nothing needs redeploying. If your scripts or services call the legacy Safe Transaction Service on the old domain, switch to Safe's official Transaction Service for Morph (Chain ID 2818) before September 21, 2026, and update safe.morphl2.io links in your docs and configs to app.safe.global.
